Uncharted 2 Demo Stats

Uncharted 2 demo has been out for about a week now at the PSN Store and Sony has been keeping tabs on some interesting statistics.

Uncharted 2 is most likely going to be the most downloaded demo since the PSN Store launched. The game is also very highly rated with 17 perfect scores so far and more will probably follow.

• Total Number of games played – 1,217,424
• Total Number of Kills – 92,110,787
• Total Number of Treasures Captured – 1,860,645
• Total Amount of Money Earned – $38,841,367,350
• Total Time Played – 9,905 days (or 27+ years!)

Uncharted 2 Limited Edition

Uncharted 2 will get a special Limited Edition called “Hunter Edition” which was announced at PAX. The limited edition comes with the game, replica of the Phurba Dagger from the game which also comes with a stand, art book, autographed case, and additional downloads.

Now the bad news, according to Sony blog this special package can only be won and cannot be bought in stores.

New Cinema Mode In Uncharted 2

There’s a new “cinema mode” in Uncharted 2 and its a tool that allows you to watch, edit, and play around with your save gameplay footage. You can even share with friends and family.

Uncharted 2 DLC Confirmed

During a recent interview, with the lead designer for Uncharted 2 he said they will be support DLC in some way without going into details.

Uncharted 2 Multiplayer and Co-op Gameplay

Sony recently confirmed what we all already knew, Uncharted 2 will have multiplayer and co-op modes which is something new for the franchise. If you want to get in on the early beta action you will need to pick up the game inFamous which gives you the code needed to access the multiplayer beta.
